The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Assistant Venue Manager to help drive the daily operations of the Grand View Hotel. You will play a vital role in supporting the Venue Manager, ensuring the smooth running of our bustling bar, restaurant, and accommodation areas, while providing outstanding service to our guests.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead by Example: Support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service in our bar, restaurant, and accommodation.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor your team, driving a positive and productive culture focused on excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Guest Engagement: Be the point of contact for guest inquiries, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience, from check-in to checkout.
- Operational Efficiency: Assist in managing stock, scheduling, and staff performance while maintaining efficient operations and adhering to budget targets.
- Compliance & Safety: Assist in ensuring the venue adheres to health and safety guidelines, licensing laws, and all regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues): Required to manage licensed venues and ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
- Approved Manager’s License: Essential for overseeing licensed areas and operations.
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol): Necessary for ensuring legal and responsible alcohol service.
- RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling): Required for managing gambling activities within the venue responsibly.
- CLO (Customer Liaison Officer) Certification: Must be in place to handle customer inquiries and manage complaints effectively.
Note: If you don’t currently hold all of the required qualifications, you will need to obtain them prior to starting in the role.
