Role Summary

As our IT Team Lead, you will be the go-to expert in technology and systems, responsible for guiding the IT team to deliver exceptional technical support, implement system improvements, and lead key IT projects and initiatives. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure our technology infrastructure meets business needs, secures data integrity, and remains adaptable to market trends and best practices.

This is a permanent part time role (4 days per week) based from our office in Carrum Downs with flexibility to work from home (2 days in the office and 2 days from home). Occasional travel to our other offices located in Carnegie and Tullamarine will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize the effectiveness of existing systems and technologies, conduct system analyses and reviews for maintenance and improvement
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to IT team members to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment
  • Collaborate on projects and initiatives, bringing technical insights and support to help achieve business goals
  • Oversee the management of all hardware and software assets, including laptops and mobile devices
  • Build and rebuild laptops and mobile devices for staff, ensuring smooth onboarding and setup
  • Communicate any system disruptions promptly to business units and senior management
  • Ensure all systems are secure and compliant with appropriate security software
  • Promote IT security awareness across the team, implementing measures that align with best practices

About You:

  • Experience in IT management or in a similar role
  • Experience managing and guiding a small team
  • Expertise in systems and technology with a strong understanding of hardware and software management
  • Ability to build, manage, and troubleshoot laptops and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of IT security practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a genuine desire to work collaboratively
