Join Our Team as a Compliance Officer!

Are you a detail-oriented Administrator with a knack for ensuring standards are met from start to finish? We’re looking for a proactive individual to join our team and support our residential construction projects, overseeing supplier and contractor compliance while facilitating smooth project transitions to obtain occupancy certificates.

About the Role: In this role training is offered around the construction knowledge, but you will play a critical part in upholding our commitment to quality and regulatory standards across all residential builds. You’ll be responsible for establishing and managing relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring they meet all compliance requirements, and guiding each villa through the occupancy certification process. Your administration expertise will ensure that our projects align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to our reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vet and set up suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and inspections, addressing any issues to maintain quality standards.
  • Facilitate the process for obtaining occupancy certificates, including coordinating with local authorities, project teams, and contractors.
  • Maintain detailed records of compliance checks, certifications, and documentation for each project.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a detailed and process driven administrator.
  • An understanding of construction regulations, building codes, and the occupancy certification process, would be nice to have.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills to manage suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and navigate multiple projects.
