It's an exhilarating time to join the marketing team at Prospecta Utilities, an expanding utilities firm embarking on projects that are on the radar of only a handful of companies globally. Having been highlighted at the 2024 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and garnering awards and funding for our initiatives, we are on the lookout for someone who can broadcast our achievements and steer our marketing and strategic direction forward. We need a Marketing and Communications Manager adept at converting technical jargon into engaging content and making Prospecta Utilities a well-recognised name across multiple media platforms.

A newly created role within Prospecta, working under the Group Marketing Director, it is central to shaping and executing the external communications, our marketing activities and strategic vision for the company strategy.

The Marketing & Communications Manager will focus on all aspects of the business including the renewable energy and 5G networks (experience preferred). Responsible for coordinating all matters related to the tactical execution of campaigns, as custodian of brand health in B2B and B2C markets across multiple disciplines, as well as providing support to B2B channels and the sales and operations teams.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to)

Strategy Development - leading Prospecta Utilities strategic marketing plans while taking into consideration the existing business landscape as well as future opportunities.

Communication - Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders including senior management and business group-wide marketing team members. Working collaboratively to bring Prospecta’s marketing and communications to life

Community - Manage day-to-day relationships with key community partners while developing communications strategies to raise awareness around Prospecta Utlilities as a valued community partner.

Digital Marketing - Oversee digital marketing strategies and social media while working with the marketing coordinator to grow engagement.

Strategy and content creation - to include internal & external communications, copywriting, social media management, eDM's and website maintenance. Crafting engaging content for multiple channels, from social media to EDM’s, and ensuring our brand’s voice resonates across all platforms.

Other duties will include Stakeholder management, Collaboration, Reporting, Market Analysis, Brand Advocacy, Communication and Events. Visiting Prospecta Utilities Website and LinkedIn pages will give you an insight to the energetic and innovative team and what they are achieving.

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations is preferred; Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum five years’ experience is preferred, including an emphasis on internal and external communication, as well as social media, marketing and public relations.
  • Outstanding written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in website content management using WordPress
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Experience in managing social media platforms and content creation
  • Experience in publication copywriting.
  • Comfortable using digital and traditional tactics to reach a varied set of local audiences and you do so with a constructive, collaborative and fun approach.
  • Skilled at understanding technical concepts and translating them into clear, compelling content.
