Plant Operator and Labourers

Who and what are we looking for?

Gemlife Residential division are presently looking for an experienced skid steer plant operator and a Labourer for our Gold Coast project. Initially a casual role but could be permanent in the future if you are a committed and hardworking team players.

If you have previous experience in the construction industry, enjoy operating well maintained equipment and/or Labouring– we need to talk. 

We are seeking a Skid Steer (great if you have Telehandler as well!) operator who is experienced and holds the relevant licenses. You are also happy to jump off the plant and be a labourer when required.

Second to that we are seeking a good labourer, experienced in working hard and being proactive on a residential site.

You are a team player, who enjoys being part of a great crew, working in the Construction team. You are a person who enjoys the mix of plant operating and labouring or you are a hard-working labourer! You are fit and physically strong and want to get the work done in a really good cultural environment.

You have experience in labouring and/or your tickets/licences for the above plant.

About You

• Previous experience as a labourer who is skilled in operating a Skid Steer (ideally plus Telehandler)
• A labourer experienced in residential site Labouring.
• Be licenced and able to operate the above equipment, if a plant operator.
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team.
• Strong safety initiative 
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role.
• General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
