The Role
The Project Manager will be a key figure within the Business Systems team, playing a vital role in delivering key corporate application projects. This highly visible position requires a strong communicator who is confident in working with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will lead the application projects into our technology stack, utilizing best-in-class applications, cyber resilience, infrastructure and processes to ensure smooth transitions.
In addition to managing high-impact projects, the role requires an understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, combined with a practical, outcome-focused approach that minimizes unnecessary bureaucracy. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with a strong track record in delivering complex projects, ready to take on strategic responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Your role responsibilities will include;
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for application-related projects; including solution design and system integration.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with system analysts, business analysts, solution architect and business subject matter experts to align project goals with business objectives and ensure that project delivery meet business needs.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage project dependencies, and address issues to keep projects on track.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and milestones to senior leadership, using appropriate project management tools to track KPIs.
- Waterfall/Agile Practices: Implement the appropriate waterfall or Agile methodologies to manage each project and facilitate continuous collaboration with stakeholders.
- Change Management: Support organisational change by managing the adoption of new application, by providing updated procedures and training as required.
Your Experience
- 5+ years of application implementation project management experience.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology
- Project Management Professional (PRINCE2, PMI-ACP) or relevant project management certifications.
- Experience with project estimating, design, coordination and project programming.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Commitment to process improvement and quality control.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor and guide teams to achieve project goals.
