El Questro Station is the hub of the property, set on the riverbank and offering air conditioned accommodation and extensive camping options. Emma Gorge offers luxury safari-style tented cabins for experiencing the wonders of the outback in comfort. For premium travellers, the El Questro Homestead is private and exclusive, hosting 18 guests at a time in luxury accommodation atop Chamberlain Gorge and River.

About the Role

As an HR Advisor, you will manage diverse responsibilities that range from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and wellbeing programs.

You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless HR functions and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and awards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment activities
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programs, ensuring new employees have a smooth start
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with payroll processing
  • Provide advice and support to managers on employee relations, performance, and compliance with HR policies
  • Organise health and wellbeing initiatives and foster an engaging work culture
  • Assist in learning and development programs and maintain compliance with relevant awards
  • Coordinate offboarding processes and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement employee events and social calendars

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years of experience in a similar HR role

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong understanding of employee assistance programs and workplace compliance

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Qualifications in Human Resources (Desirable)

Experience in the hospitality industry (Desirable)
