About The Role

As the Digital Performance Specialist you will be a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual with strengths in implementation, optimisation, and reporting of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms.  

You will play a key role in driving performance, improving efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our digital marketing initiatives. You will have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, tools, and analytics, along with a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution and Management: 

  • Set up, monitor, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across channels, including search, social, display, and programmatic platforms. 
  • Ensure all campaigns are aligned with business goals, brand guidelines, and target audience needs. 
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop and refine ad creatives and messaging. 
  • Manage tagging and tracking setups for accurate campaign measurement. 

Campaign Media and Budget Optimisation: 

  • Assist in planning and executing media buys to maximise ROI. 
  • Review ongoing performance, offering recommendations and implementing changes to optimise results
  • Monitor budgets, ensuring campaigns are delivered within allocated spend. 
  • Provide input on budget allocation across channels based on performance data and strategic priorities. 

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: 

  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness. 
  • Prepare regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation. 
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve campaign performance and meet business objectives. 

Collaboration and Coordination: 

  • Work closely with internal teams, including creative, strategy, CRM and analytics, delivering on campaign execution and targets. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with media partners, ensuring smooth execution and access to the latest tools and insights. 
  • Support cross-functional projects, ensuring seamless integration of efforts across marketing channels. 

Industry Knowledge and Innovation: 

  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to inform strategies and execution. 
  • Test and implement new technologies or platforms to drive innovation and efficiency in campaigns. 

About You

You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, combined with experience in digital marketing. You will be proficient in platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Taboola and other programmatic tools. You will have strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or similar. You are motivated, curious, and driven to innovate the way we approach digital marketing. The role requires an understanding, or willingness to learn and navigate tagging and tracking systems, including Google Tag Manager.

Whilst technical proficiency is important to the role, you will also have the attitude, soft skills, and capability to engage with a broad range of business stakeholders. You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at G’day Group.
