The Role
As the Brand Marketing Coordinator you will support the planning and execution of brand campaigns and activations for the core Discovery Parks brand, and leading with broader administration duties from across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and execution of the Brand and Advertising Strategy for the Discovery brand and sub brands, including working closely with external and internal media and creative agencies to deliver impactful consumer focused campaigns.
- Help develop and communicate out the multichannel annual marketing calendar to key stakeholders, focused on driving brand growth and optimising long term revenue.
- Work closely with the Local Area Marketers and Revenue and Operations Team to ensure alignment in plans and activity.
- Help maintain campaign content on the Discovery Parks website, team intranet and other distribution channels.
- Assist with reporting on brand health and key marketing metrics in-line with the marketing dashboard with a focus on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support of social media platforms in collaboration with the social media team.
- Assist in the management of marketing budgets including invoicing processing and expense allocation, and take ownership of general marketing administration support including branded collateral orders from the wider business and monitoring, distributing, and responding to emails received within the Marketing inbox.
- Work closely with the Brand Manager on marketing briefs and brand approvals to ensure the Discovery Parks brand maintains consistency and alignment across all communication, campaigns, and partner touchpoints while reinforcing the brand purpose and positioning.
- Liaise with internal and external contractors and partners including graphic designers, copywriters, content producers and tourism operators on a regular basis.
Your Experience
To be successful in this role you will have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a similar field. You will have strong communications skills and exceptional time management.
You will be naturally curious with demonstrated ability to solve problems, analyse systems and data and suggest commercially viable solutions. You will think creatively and strategically, you will have a genuine interest in the tourism industry and a passion for best in proactive methodology.
Whilst technical proficiency is important to the role, you will also have the attitude, soft skills and capability to engage with a broad range of business stakeholders. You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at G’day Group. Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders.
