The Role
As the Business Development Manager you will be a highly valued member of the talented and industry leading team. You will be responsible for growing and supporting clients and affiliates utilising the technology. You will engage and network with industry in educating on the platform and driving uptake of the software suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the face and voice on the front line for clients and customers needing support or assistance
- Deliver quality management assistance to all users of our platforms
- Provide technical support across our entire software suite
- Assist with setup and activation of new clients, as well as account management of existing clients
- Provide training for new, existing or prospective clients
- Utilise key problem solving techniques to avoid escalations
- Achieve daily targets without compromising the high level of customer service
- Monitor systems performance and advise technical issues
- Proactively inform clients on new enhancements and releases
- Use internal documentation for self education and self training
- Create, utilise & enhance predefined replies in communication with customers to increase efficiency
Your Experience
To be successful in this role you will have prior experience working with software platforms, ideally specific to the tourism industry. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and a natural curiosity to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Whilst technical proficiency is important to the role, you will also have the attitude, soft skills and leadership capability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at G’day Group.
