We’re seeking a dynamic Senior HR Consultant to join our People and Culture team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with Regional Operations Managers to develop and execute business and people strategies across our park and workstay operations. As a trusted advisor, you’ll coach our Park and Operations teams on leadership, performance management, and workforce planning. This is a unique chance to work closely with both employees and management, creating a positive, cooperative work environment across our stunning park locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching & Development: Mentor Park and Operations teams to become effective leaders, guiding them through performance discussions, award/policy interpretation, and workforce planning.
  • Employee Relations: Facilitate and promote cooperative ER matters, ensuring smooth communication between managers and employees.
  • HR Policy Expert: Provide advice on ER matters and HR policies to managers, helping them navigate complex issues with confidence.
  • Talent & Succession Planning: Contribute to our talent management and succession planning programs, ensuring a pipeline of strong leadership candidates.
  • People & Culture Projects: Get involved with exciting projects that shape and enhance our people practices and overall culture.

Skills & Experience:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, along with solid experience in a generalist HR role—experience in tourism, hospitality, or retail sectors is highly regarded.
  • Coaching & Relationship Building: Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels.
  • Analytical Mindset: A passion for data analysis to inform and drive practice change.
  • Change Agent: Demonstrated ability to influence leadership to implement meaningful change.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Agility & Communication: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
