About the Role

As the Lead Product Manager you will own the complete product lifecycle across our all platforms in our digital ecosystem, with primary focus on driving conversion rates, optimizing user journeys, and delivering measurable business growth through our digital platforms.

You will lead a growing team while working closely with executive leadership to align platform strategies with business objectives, making this an ideal opportunity for a product leader ready to expand their strategic impact.

Key responsibilities of the role will include -

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define and execute a comprehensive platform strategy that drives conversions, enhances user experiences, and supports business growth across all digital touchpoints
  • Develop and maintain clear product roadmaps that balance short-term conversion optimization with long-term innovation
  • Translate company objectives and customer needs into actionable platform enhancements

Conversion & Revenue Optimization

  • Develop and manage a robust testing program (A/B, multivariate) to continuously improve conversion rates
  • Partner with Marketing team to optimize user acquisition funnels and reduce acquisition costs
  • Analyse customer journeys to identify and eliminate friction points in the booking process
  • Create strategies to increase customer lifetime value through personalisation

Platform Performance & Technical Oversight

  • Own and drive accountability for platform performance metrics, stability, and technical health across all digital properties
  • Establish (with the Dev Ops team) and monitor KPIs for platform availability, load times, error rates, and other technical performance metrics
  • Lead incident response for critical platform issues and ensure proper root cause analysis

Product Development & Execution

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle using agile methodologies
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on conversion impact, business value, and technical feasibility
  • Collaborate and direct UX/UI designers to create intuitive, conversion-focused interfaces
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of platform improvements and continuous product delivery

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of product professionals
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and operations

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related field combined with extensive experience from within a highly commercial environment. You will be a digital expert with proven growth in digital revenue contribution and improvement in platform conversion rates. You will have consider team performance and development a priority and have a strong track record in cross-functional collaboration effectiveness.

Whilst technical proficiency is important to the role, you will also need to demonstrate exceptional leadership and digital innovation skills. You will possess the attitude, soft skills, and capability to engage with a broad range of business stakeholders. Your high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail will be crucial in meeting the business demands at G’day Group.
