About the role
Document Controller to join our APAC Projects Team. The role is offered on a casual contract until 30 June 2026 and is located at our Perth CBD office. The role has the potential for extension.
Reporting to the Document Control Manager you will be responsible for managing document control processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitating the efficient organisation and retrieval of project documents and records.
Duties
- Maintain document control systems to ensure the efficient management and organization of documents and records for engineering projects.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with Project procedures.
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Manage document control registers, and tracking tools to track document status, revisions, reviews and approvals.
- Assist Senior/Lead Document Controllers with work overflow as required.
About you
- 3+ years' experience in a document control role
- Proficient in document control principles, practices, and standards, including document numbering, revision control, and document lifecycle management
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to document control and records management
- Understanding of document management software (Aconex, QDMS & InEight)
- Advanced organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage large volumes of documents and records effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
