Your Role

There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you will be working on, day-to-day;

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business/end users, simplifying technical terminology using clear oral, written, and visual techniques.
• Champion the Business Analysis function within the organization, fostering collaboration with design, product, and development teams.
• Constantly engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment, facilitate stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions, while addressing dependencies, risks, and requirements.
• Supporting Delivery Team through end-to-end software development cycle.
• Deliver high-quality user stories, business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Elicit and document "as-is" and "future state" business processes through workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Translate business needs into precise, testable user stories and process flows.
• Develop visual aids and documentation techniques to ensure shared understanding of processes and data.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager (PM) to refine requirements for development and manage dependencies and risks effectively.
• Define acceptance criteria and oversee acceptance testing/verification processes.
• Collaborate with Quality Analysts to develop test scripts based on comprehensive business and functional documentation.
• Coordinate test execution and analyse outcomes to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Support through all testing phases- QA, UAT, TVT, PVT
• Support kinds of testing - Load Testing, Penetration Testing, Accessibility Testing
• Work with delivery team to ensure requirement is interpreted correctly and team has covered all aspects around functional/non-functional requirements while providing estimations.
• Contribute significantly to the evolution of the Business Analysis practice by mentoring/coaching junior and mid-level Business Analysts.
• Lead showcases and guide team members in presenting their contributions effectively.

Your Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering Business Analysis artifacts aligned to BABOK and Agile methodologies 8+ years Business Analysis experience.
• The ability to work with dispersed and diverse agile technology teams to deliver continuous value for our members.
• High level technical understanding of Web services/API and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including understanding of core services, deployment, and integration methodologies. This is preferred.
• Experience working with in-house development teams. This is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing key stakeholders.
• A demonstrated understanding and facilitation of agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean and Continuous Delivery.
• Strong analytical skills, proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant delivery applications i.e. BPM tools, Office suite, Jira / Confluence.
• Strong level of flexibility with a strong ability to lean others successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change.
• Experience or the ability to mentor Junior and other Business Analysts where applicable.
• Industry certification in Agile and Business Analysis (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe, CBAP).
