Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Our client, a leading produce company, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor with solid Maintenance experience. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is able to handle the following responsibilities:

1) Lead, direct and supervise daily multi-skilled forces

2) Perform daily analysis of production schedule, labour costs, productivity, equipment status and capital spending for the department

recommend, and implement plans for variance to budget

3) Ensure employees complete work activities safely and without jeopardizing product quality as well as meet HCC maintenance standards

4) Develop department personnel skills and abilities, complete HCC maintenance standards and supervise the implementation

5) Organize and assign work activities by type and class, ensuring employee comprehension as well as daily productivity against standards

6) Maintain maintenance performance scorecard

7) Monitor and evaluate employee performance through periodic inspections of employee’s work progress and work performance, tracking actual vs. estimated spend ratios

8) Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures, measuring through Employee Absenteeism levels and observations

9) Active participation on various task force teams and committees, developing policies and procedures, and programs to enhance safety, quality, productivity to attain goals

10) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the produce industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance supervision
