The Evoenergy Network Services Group have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join their team as an Engineering Technical Support Officer.
About the role:
The Engineering Technical Support Officer is a key role within the Network Services group, providing support to the Overhead Assets Section to ensure efficient field delivery of the annual Overhead Program of Works (PoW).
In this role, you will apply your data IT and analytic skills to optimise systems-data integration, and will support change management activities, section optimisation, auditing procedures, governance procedures and process improvements.
Recent engineering graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand cost implications of risk modelling outcomes to inform CAPEX/OPEX decisions and improve budget forecasting and opportunities for business improvement.
- Apply data governance, including QA/QC rules and processes. Audit and assess the quality of data, reporting data quality issues.
- Field verification and recording field delivery activities.
- Provide insights on risks through analysis, environmental scanning and staff engagement. Presenting the data extracts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce visually compelling dashboards and reports via Power BI or similar software.
Our ideal candidate:
- You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, engineering design or asset management desirable, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI, the ESRI ArcGIS / ArcFM suite (or equivalent), Microsoft Office and SQL Query related software.
- Demonstrated experience in using spatial information systems for map production, spatial data capture, analysis, reporting and content management preferably in a utility environment.
- Understanding of governance, risk management and quality improvement concepts, with a focus on systems improvement and organisational change.
- An understanding of long term operational and strategic plans.
