Key Responsibilities

• Manage site safety, resources, scope and delivery of works on a daily basis, applying and enforcing required site procedures to ensure safe work processes and behaviours. 
• Ensure day-to-day issue resolution and provide coaching and mentoring to team members for both technical and performance matters, with a view to completing works safely and efficiently
• Closely collaborate with the Standards and Work Practices Sections and other functions as required in order to ensure compliance and quality, constructively providing feedback to improve work practices, processes and outcomes
• Participate in On-Call and after-hours duties as required.
• Other duties within the position holder’s skill, competence and training as directed.

Our ideal Candidate

• You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. 
• OH&S General Induction Card
• Certificate III in Electro-technology or Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution Overhead, Craft Certificate or equivalent.
• Hold current or in process of obtaining switching authorisation for HV, LV overhead and underground network, zone substations and transmission network
• Demonstrated understanding of the operation and maintenance of electricity network infrastructure and field operations and high level knowledge of construction standards.
