Works Preparation Team Lead

Evoenergy's newly created Works Enablement Team is seeking a Works Preparation Team Lead to lead the Works Preparation team.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the newly established, centralised Works Preparation Team within Evoenergy's Works Enablement group. Reporting directly to the Group Manager Works Enablement, you will be responsible for receiving rolling programs of works and planning and organising all aspects of individual jobs and job bundles to be ready for scheduling and delivery by field construction staff. This is an evolving role and the successful applicant will play a critical part in establishing these new processes, working with management to ensure the processes are aligned to Evoenergy's requirements.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Prioritise work for scheduling within a 0-3 month window.
  • Identify opportunities for tactical bundling of works, including identifying where jobs can be bundled together on the same outage.
  • Assign projects and work orders to Works Preparers in the team based on prioritisation in short-term execution plan.
  • Drive consistency by ensuring Works Preparers follow standardised preparation processes
  • Provide coaching and support, and manage workload of the Works Preparation team.
  • Assist the team in works preparation as required

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of scheduling systems and processes
  • Ability to assess program and staffing priorities, dealing with conflicting demands
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills
