Evoenergy has an exciting opportunity for an Application Support Specialist to lead business critical regulatory initiatives associated with Velocity, Evoenergy’s National Electricity Market (NEM) facing system which manages both regulatory and NEM compliance obligations and generates > $20mil/monthly Network invoicing. You'll become a subject matter expert in all things regulatory including Network Use Of Service (NUOS) billing and National Electricity Market (NEM).

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and help manage delivery of all NEM and regulatory rule changes impacting Velocity
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and operational requirements are maintained.
  • Develop system requirements and solution designs documents in relation to NEM or regulatory change, or rule changes/business initiatives.
  • Develop testing schedule, write test plans, review and approve test results and adjust business processes to optimise Velocity usage.
  • Represent Evoenergy at market and industry forums associated to NEM initiatives/rules changes.
  • Manage internal/ external stakeholder relationships with effective communication, negotiation, and problem solving, supporting Evoenergy outcomes.
  • Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.

Our ideal candidate:

  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent workplace experience.
  • Certification in project management, or equivalent workplace experience
  • Understanding of agile and Prince2 methodologies
  • Extensive experience providing application support for systems such as Velocity or SAP.
  • Demonstrated understanding of NERL, NER, NERR, including AEMO procedures.
