There has never been a more exciting time to join us as the ACT embraces the energy transition. As a Contract Manager, you will have direct involvement in enabling an electrified Canberra. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Evoenergy’s strategic contracts engaged to partner with Evoenergy to assist in the expansion of our network.

Your daily responsibilities:

  • Management of Evoenergy’s key strategic contacts through regular and ongoing strategic stakeholder engagement with both internal and external parties
  • Establish and regularly review the frameworks and internal support required to optimise delivery on contract arrangements
  • Actively engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to promote collaboration, ensure assurance frameworks are achieving required outcomes, and identify and resolve operational delivery issues
  • Review and analyse performance of these key contracts, working with these partners to enable successful delivery of contract outcomes
  • Oversee and manage supplier contracts, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and contractual obligations while facilitating transparent communication and strategic alignment with contractors
  • Monitor financial and commercial performance metrics and evaluate KPIs

Our ideal candidate:

  • Qualifications in either Business, Commerce, Finance, Law, Project Management, or Engineering
  • Prior contract and/or commercial management and negotiation experience and/or experience negotiating and drafting contracts
  • Stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage and influence effectively cross functionally and with external parties
  • Ability to apply commercial and risk management principles in providing pragmatic, results focused advice and decision support
  • High attention to detail and focus on robust processes and controls to manage customer contracts
