Site Lead - Lineworker - Overhead Delivery

The Network Services team are seeking a proactive Site Lead –Overhead Delivery, who will be responsible for the safety and routine supervision of field staff on the job overseeing of material, plant and equipment utilisation allocated to the section.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a crew to safely and efficiently performing electrical line work activities involving the construction and maintenance of Evoenergy’s Electricity Network.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of teams and individuals, responding proactively to performance matters and escalating issues to the Program Delivery Lead or Team Lead as appropriate.
• Interpret available information / technical manuals using discretion, experience and judgement to solve problems.
• Closely collaborate all other functions as required in order to ensure compliance and quality, constructively providing feedback to improve work practices, processes and outcomes
• Provide clear guidance and instruction and manage performance and attendance, thereby driving successful achievement of individual and team KPIs (across the Program of Work, EHSQ, Leadership and cost / budget).

Our ideal candidate:

• Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution Overhead, Craft Certificate or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of works in electricity distribution including experience in construction works as a Lineworker
• EWP High Risk Licence
• Demonstrated understanding of the operation and maintenance of electricity network infrastructure and field operations and high level knowledge of construction standards.
