Esri Australia is the exclusive local distributor of Esri's world-leading Geographic Information System (GIS) software and a member of the world's largest group of ArcGIS specialists outside of the United States — the Boustead Geospatial Group.

Our technology is shaping the way we work, live and play — today and into the future — creating the world we want to see.

As we continue to evolve and grow our business, we are looking for new ways to work more efficiently and more effectively. That’s where you come in!

About the Role

As a Social Media and Content Manager at Esri Australia, your day is dynamic and fast-paced, filled with opportunities to help shape our online presence through your advanced storytelling abilities.

Reporting to the Senior Communication and Content Manager, you will leverage your experience and skills to design, curate, and create engaging social media content across all Boustead Geospatial Group (BGG) companies, including Esri Australia, Esri Singapore, Esri Malaysia, Esri Indonesia, and Esri Bangladesh.

You will collaborate with senior members of the marketing team to identify, develop and implement content to increase brand awareness and engagement with the BGG companies. You will ensure this content aligns with our business and marketing objectives and align with our brand’s voice. You will also be key in ensuring we amplify messages by leveraging our internal and external subject matter experts, ensuring consistency and professionalism across all our platforms.

Your impressive writing and storytelling abilities will be showcased as you create, edit, and proofread content across a variety of channels to ensure accuracy and consistency. You will ensure that all content aligns with the company's brand and messaging guidelines. By leveraging analytics, you will optimise the reach and effectiveness of all the content you create, while complying with Group brand, marketing, and operational requirements.

Your efforts in creating and managing content will not only boost brand awareness but also build lasting relationships with our audience. Compliance with group brand, marketing, and operational requirements is always top of mind as you deliver impactful content that resonates with current and future clients.

As a key player in our storytelling team, you'll craft compelling content that captivates and informs our audience. Your creative skills will help us engage with both existing and potential clients, delivering high-quality content that drives interaction and nurtures lasting connections.

About You

We’re looking for a dynamic and creative communications professional with a proven track record in social media, marketing, and brand management.

The ideal candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in social media, marketing, communications, PR, journalism, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience creating and publishing impactful content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, and TikTok.

You will be skilled in developing engaging written, visual, and video content that aligns with business and marketing objectives, with a strong ability to tell compelling stories that resonate with both the brand and its audience. You will have superior communication skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail.

A natural multitasker, you’ll be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective execution. Your ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools is highly desirable.

Experience with media relations and working with PR agencies is a bonus but not essential.

If you’re ready to bring your passion and expertise to a role that makes an impact, we want to hear from you!

You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia and have an attitude and behaviour that aligns with Esri Australia’s core values.
