About the Role
You are a client advisor, an influencer and an enabler. Your role is to advise and coach clients on how to exploit their spatial capabilities to achieve their business goals. As a key role in Advisory’s Enterprise Advantage Program (EAP), you will become familiar with the client’s business and technical vision, goals and objectives to best align spatial capabilities and ensure successful outcomes. This role is specifically aimed to bridge the gap between business and technical needs in an ongoing trusted partnership. Your day to day will include:
- Advising our clients on how to resolve their business problems through the delivery of the appropriate GIS strategies, architectures, governance, talent development, data strategies, product selection and release planning.
- Providing proactive expertise in user needs analysis, estimation, design, development, and implementation of Enterprise GIS solutions.
- Facilitating technical presentations and workshops to establish alignment between the business needs and the technical, people and process capabilities required to achieve business outcomes.
- Supporting the Sales team to advance the value proposition and positioning of the EAP.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional who will be able to utilise their expert-level knowledge of the Esri technologies - coupled with proven strengths in consulting - to create, build and maintain exceptional client relationships and serve as an Esri Australia advisor/advocate for clients. To be successful in this role you will need:
- 3+ years of consultative engagement experience.
- 7+ years’ experience implementing or applying GIS concepts using Esri technology in various client environments, and strong knowledge/experience with Esri Enterprise software offerings in desktop, server, and online/web technologies.
- Proven ability managing internal and external resources for complex projects while developing synergetic relationship with key client stakeholders.
- Business analysis experience – skilled in requirements elicitation, process modelling, business process improvement, knowledge transfer, meeting facilitation and support.
- Change management experience – ability to plan, minimise disruption, and improve likeliness of client success.
- Working rights - You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
