Sitting within the broader People and Culture team, You will be part of a specialist team providing support and advice on diverse employment related and industrial matters.

You'll report to the Employee Relations Manager and work within a supportive and high performing environment. You will have responsibility for partnering with stakeholders across Endeavour Energy’s business, providing leadership and direct support on a broad range of complex and sensitive employment matters. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead case management of complex and sensitive employment matters, ensuring fair and just process and alignment with the Enterprise Agreement, legislation, contract and policies
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate dispute resolution processes, liaising with Union representatives
  • Represent Endeavour Energy as an advocate in tribunals or commissions, including in conciliations and smaller matters
  • Coach managers and People & Culture partners to address and resolve sensitive and/or complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, health management matters
  • Support larger organisational changes, including advising and assisting in the management of consultation and redundancy processes
  • Research and develop advice and options to inform Endeavour Energy’s industrial strategy
  • Support the Employee Relations Manager, to manage risks and resolve complex employee relations issues, including collaborating with legal counsel as needed
  • Support the design, negotiation, implementation and interpretation of the Enterprise Agreement, other industrial instruments and associated policies as required.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of employment laws, regulations and ensure organisational compliance to them 
  • Develop, revise and communicate policy and procedure changes related to employment relations

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Law, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years PQE, preferably in labor law or a related field or Proven experience in an employee relations role.
  • Excellent understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of integrity.
