About the role
As a Works Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing a Master Schedule that aligns operational deliverables with financial, resource, and business priorities. Your expertise in scheduling, governance, and innovation will ensure smooth project execution and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Safety Performance: Drive improvements in safety performance and model the organisation’s commitment to WHS.
- Master Schedule: Development and management of a rolling schedule of works “Master schedule”, covering all deliverables in Operations. This is required to account for financial, resource, scope and other business priorities.
- Innovation: Continuous review and development of Scheduling systems and processes that ensure the needs of operations are met by leveraging Technology, Systems and advanced metrics.
- Governance: Development of a schedule that ensures that the works are undertaken within the constraints specified by Asset Planning and Performance.
- Contributing to the development of the overall vision and direction of the Section
Qualifications, Certifications and Licences
Qualifications
- Advanced Diploma in Project / Program Management
- Formal Scheduling qualification and/or demonstrated experience
Licences/Tickets
- C Vehicle licence up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM)
- Green Card Workcover Induction for Construction Work - General Course
Skills and Experience
Experience
- Base Professional: 3 years experience in a professional role within the Construction, Energy / Electrical, Public Transport, Telecommunications, Transportation and Utilities industries.
- Demonstrated experience using ERP, Portfolio and Project Management systems and Advanced Scheduling Skills
