Role type: This position is a maternity leave replacement contract for a duration of 8 months.

About the Role

The Clinic and Operations Managers (COM) is responsible for providing a seamless student experience across student support mechanisms and support activities in clinics and on campus. Key responsibilities include maintaining a supportive student and staff environment, ensuring a safe, effective, and efficient clinical experience, and facilitating activities that support an engaging campus culture. This role ensures an exceptional student support environment by ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic and campus.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Student Engagement & Support : Plan, manage, and deliver a variety of student support and engagement events, including open days, orientations, onboarding commencing and continuing students, campus events and activities, campus connect days, graduations, and other to foster a vibrant and inclusive community.
  • Staff Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage Campus Student Engagement teams, Clinic and Campus Coordinator (CCA), and Student Support Officer (SSO) to ensure exceptional student service and support.
  • Campus & Clinic Operations Management:

o  Campus: Manage daily campus operations, including budgeting, resource optimization, WHS compliance, enhancing the student experience with support mechanisms and maximising student engagement.

o  Clinics: Develop and implement strategic operational priorities for the local clinic to ensure profitability and budget alignment, while overseeing daily clinic operations including budgeting, resource optimization, timetabling optimization, booking capacity, WHS compliance, and maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment for staff, students, and clients.

  • Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) & Facilities Management: Responsible for coordinating all campus WHS activities, including staff training, orientations, risk management protocols, and quarterly WHS Committee meetings, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and standards, providing a safe and hazard free clinic and campus environment.

About You

  • Bachelor degree in any relevant discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience in a similar field
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Proven administration, strategic and organisational skills
  • Results driven business acumen
  • Experience in Risk Management and WHS matters
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
  • Training and resource development and delivery
  • Previous experience in an educational setting beneficial
  • Project management and planning skills
  • Familiarity with innovative business development initiatives
  • Exceptional time management abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and autonomous business environment
