In the role of Project Control Summer Student, you will be given exposure to various roles in Project Controls cost and scheduling.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month summer placement starting in May 2025, located in Edmonton, AB.

What you will do:

  • Monitor project costs at the WBS level including control budget, incurred costs, commitments, and forecast.
  • Provide the project team with accurate and timely cost information and reporting.
  • Perform earned value measurements to anticipate forecast impacts.
  • Prepare project change orders.
  • Review cost transactions to ensure accurate project costs.
  • Assist primary scheduler with schedule updates.
  • Collect LEMS and track incurred costs.
  • Validate invoices.
  • Participate in meetings to stay informed of project changes to scope, cost, schedule and progress.

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Engineering and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term. 
  • Effective communicator, team player, attention to detail
  • Effectively manage and prioritize workload
  • Ability to work independently within team setting, bring issues forward
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze data for root cause and trends
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).

Working Conditions: 

  • Office-based role, located in Edmonton, AB
  • Relocation assistance is not provided. 

Please note that this is a role providing contract labour to Enbridge through Raise, who manages Enbridge’s Student Contractor Program. If you are selected for this position, you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Enbridge.
