In the role of Corporate Income Tax Summer Internship, you will provide support to the Income Tax reporting team including through the collection of information and analysis of various reports in Oracle cloud and other source systems.  It’s an excellent job for students that are studying Finance or Accounting.

Placement Details:

This is a 4 month summer internship starting in May 2025, located in Calgary.

What you will do:

  • Timely and accurate preparation of federal, provincial, and other tax filings.
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date adjusted cost base (ACB) for Domestic and International subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date Surplus calculations for Domestic and International subsidiaries.
  • Perform basic tax research and summarize and articulate results.
  • Collect and organize legal and financial information to respond to Canada Revenue Agency audit queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with International tax administrative matters including FATCA compliance.
  • Support ad-hoc requests.

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Accounting or Finance  and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term. 
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) , advanced excel is a requirement.
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion).
  • Experience with Canadian tax preparation software is an asset but not required.

Working Conditions: 

  • Office, located in Calgary
