In the role of Facility Maintenance Summer Student, you will provide a broad range of basic to complex field support to the Gas Storage team. It’s an excellent job for people who like to handle a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis.
This is a unique opportunity to learn from and interact with a full range of Enbridge professionals—from Managers to Technicians, Engineers and Mechanics.
Placement Details:
These are 4-month opportunities starting May 2025, located in Dawn, ON.

What you will do:
- Providing support to the operations staff on a variety of tasks
- Building maintenance.
- Cleaning and organizing facilities and stations.
- Painting, grass cutting, weed eradication.
- Yard Maintenance
- Assisting with the organization of special events.
- General administrative duties as required
Competencies you will develop:
- Detailed safety best practices for tools/equipment
- Understanding and appreciation for what safety means in the energy industry
- Practical knowledge of machining/manufacturing/engineering as it relates to tools and equipment
- Safety training including fire risk and prevention
- High level understanding of how the energy industry works
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term.
- Valid Full G Class (Or Equivalent) driver’s license.
- Willing and able to perform physical work.
- Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
Working Conditions:
- Field-based role, located in Dresden, ON. (Dawn)
