In the role of Communications coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Design Efficiency team as part of the “Improving our Competitiveness” initiative in the Projects Organization. You will work closely with the team to develop and mature communication packages, executive reports, progress tracking select opportunities and create department presentation materials.
Placement Details:
This is a 4-month summer internship starting in May 2025, located in Edmonton, AB.
Must have qualifications:
The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize several workload deliverables concurrently and resolve issues in a timely manner. They will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be highly detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. They need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and assessment software.
Nice to have qualifications:
Experience in Power Bi, Microsoft Power Apps, Lists, and Power automate. Can present complex data in a simplified format using PowerPoint.
Who you are:
- You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program in Communications, or Business or Engineering, and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize several workload deliverables concurrently and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and assessment software
- Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion and high performance).

Physical Requirements (Office) include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:
Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
