Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Oversight Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the design and construction support of power transmission lines, substations, high voltage systems, power generation, and power transmission. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the construction support of power transmission lines and substations.
• Manage high voltage systems and ensure their safe operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technical teams to develop power generation and transmission solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or Professional Technologist (P.Tech) certification in Canada.
• Over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems.
• Proven experience in the design and installation of power transmission lines, substations, and high voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of power generation and transmission principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
• Experience with natural gas mainline compression, meter stations, and gas processing facilities is a plus.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with natural gas mainline compression.
• Familiarity with meter stations and gas processing facilities.
