About Us:
The GMS team at Enbridge Gas is a vibrant and dynamic group that plays a crucial role in the success of Energy Services. We are responsible for achieving revenue targets, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering outstanding customer service. Our team ensures that natural gas flow requests are met daily, accurately, and on time for all Enbridge Gas customers and suppliers at the Dawn Hub and various pipelines.
Position Overview:
As a GMS Analyst, you will gain valuable insights into the natural gas market and have the opportunity to interact and build relationships with various Enbridge Gas departments and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue and confirm natural gas flow requests for Enbridge Gas customers, suppliers, and pipelines.
- Validate daily gas flows on Enbridge Gas Inc. transmission pipeline interconnects, storage facilities, and third-party transmission pipelines.
- Prepare accurate monthly activity statements for EGI customers for invoicing and verification of Enbridge’s gas supply and transportation invoices.
- Respond to inquiries from pipelines, suppliers, and customers.
- Resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain positive business relationships with customers, agents, marketers, and interconnecting pipelines.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to GMS Analysts, customers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- College diploma and/or university degree.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in PC applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Web browsers) is required.
- Ability to quickly learn information technology systems used to enable GMS business processes is an asset.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines is desired.
- Two or more years of previous scheduling experience or comparable industry experience is desired.
Working Conditions:
- Availability and willingness to work day and evening rotations, including weekends and an on-call schedule.
- Sample rotations: day (8:00 am-5:00 pm), evening (2:00 pm – 11:00 pm), weekend (10:00 am – 11:00 pm).
Please note: Successful applicants will be employees of Raise, working at Enbridge facilities with both Enbridge and contract employees.
