Job Overview:

The Contract Conformance Specialist (CCS) is responsible for managing the day-to-day conformance responsibilities for all contractual arrangements of assigned capital and maintenance projects. This role involves overseeing the entire administration stages of contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, and facilitating the resolution of contractual matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flow of documentation and communication related to contractual relationships.
  • Facilitate the preparation of contract exhibits, including scope, specifications, pricing, and special instructions.
  • Lead contract negotiations and coordinate project-specific communication plans.
  • Review contractor documents for compliance and manage change order processes.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting notes for all contract-related meetings.
  • Establish and implement project contract document control and retention systems.
  • Coordinate with project teams and legal leads to resolve contractual issues.
  • Provide assistance during compliance audits and communicate project contractual requirements.

Dimensions:

  • Manage major projects with a consolidated total of up to $500MM per year.
  • Oversee projects typically lasting up to 2 years.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline.
  • Experience in legal, engineering, construction, and/or contract administration.
  • Familiarity with best management practices for contracting.
  • Experience with Renewable Energy Projects and large EPC Agreements is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Oracle, ProjectWise, and SharePoint.

Work Conditions:

  • The CCS’s primary location will be Enbridge’s office.
  • The position will require some travel, approximately 25%-50% of the time as required, primarily within the assigned Project region i.e. Texas, USA
