About Us:

Join our innovative team as a UI/UX Designer, where you'll play a pivotal role in crafting engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our automated contract review solution. Revolutionize the review of insurance and indemnification clauses in commercial contracts. We are a dynamic startup, and this role is essential in supporting our short, medium, and long-term goals, potentially leading to an external sale process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts and user flows, ensuring a seamless user journey.
  • Visual Design: Develop visually appealing designs that align with the brand identity and enhance the overall user experience.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points, applying findings to inform design decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible, aligned with product goals, and meet customer requirements.
  • Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products and streamline the design process.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design, applying new techniques to enhance design.

Scope & Dimensions:

  • Play a critical role as a member of the team, ensuring an optimal overall user experience.
  • Build relationships with the Customer Service Manager and the Product Owner.
  • Engage in internal communication with corporate functions (e.g., Insurance, Communications) and external communication with customers (e.g., Brokers, Advisors, Developers).

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive portfolio showcasing previous design work, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual design.
  • Proficiency in Figma and ideally Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate effective collaboration with development teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience in designing for SaaS products or enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in UI/UX design.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and design sprints.
