Job Description:
Enbridge Gas Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Engineering Analyst to join our dedicated Integrity department. The goal of our Integrity team is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of all our gas-carrying assets. This role is part of the Systems Strategy & Analytics team, which focuses on optimizing integrity software systems, strategies, and data models to enhance the Integrity team's efficiency, deliver high-quality assessments, and develop robust data strategies.
As an Engineering Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy and integrity, supporting our mission of maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed reviews pipeline details and centerlines to ensure compliance with reporting standards and accurate reflection of pipeline specifications.
- Reviewing engineering drawings, bills of materials, and other company records to validate pipeline specifications.
- Assessing the quality of entered Integrity dig and NDE information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Creating and manipulating GIS datasets using satellite imagery and ESRI ArcMap software tools.
- Developing a technical understanding of Integrity documents and processes to drive data improvements supporting Integrity and Risk assessments.
- Building basic analytical tools using Python, SQL, VBScript, PowerBI, or other development tools.
- Contributing to the creation of analytical models related to pipeline integrity.
Qualifications:
Mandatory:
- Technology diploma or Engineering degree
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, engineering drawings, and as-built construction drawings
- Technically inclined with ability to understand and solve problems by formulating conclusions based on various data inputs
- A high level of attention to detail and capable of quickly and independently learning new processes
- Strong sense of organization and planning
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to self-learn new
Optional:
- Previous experience in Records Management, Pipeline/Materials engineering, or Integrity
- Knowledge of Enbridge Gas Inc. policy and procedures
- Experience working with ESRI ArcMap or Google Earth
- Proficient in VB Script, Python, PowerQuery, or SQL coding languages
- Proficient in creating charts or dashboards (i.e., PowerBI)
