Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this position is to develop and automate the maintenance of PowerBI dashboards that support the Enbridge GTM Integrity & Risk Management department. This role is crucial in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enhancing business decision-making, and improving performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Retrieval:
- Identify raw data sources and understand data systems.
- Utilize automation techniques to manipulate data efficiently.
- Data Analysis:
- Transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Support business decision-making and improve performance.
- Dashboard Creation:
- Develop and maintain dashboards to enhance data analysis.
- Communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with various departments to understand data needs.
- Develop and manage business intelligence solutions, providing detailed reports and dashboards.
- Project Management:
- Capture business requirements, prioritize them, and track delivery progress.
- Lead the development and enhancement of team processes and procedural documents.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Develop and deliver training sessions.
- Provide mentoring and direction to departmental staff, contractors, and consultants.
- KPI Management:
- Maintain an inventory of KPIs, including definitions.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests.
Scope and Impact:
- Drive value, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Influence the integrity of pipelines, impacting costs, capacity, and customer relationships.
- Insights may affect project costs, schedules, and company earnings.
Key Contacts:
- Regular interaction with I&RM team members, including employees, contractors, and consultants.
- Interface with Directors, Vice President, and other senior management team members.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in integrity or pipeline industry.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced data visualization tools (PowerBI).
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America.
- Preferred:
- Experience in integrity or pipeline operations.
- Background in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Strong mentorship and informal leadership skills.
Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment.
- Travel required up to 20% to other US or Canada offices and/or site locations.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
