Enbridge is hiring an Electrical Technician III right now—when you apply, Raise will review your application within 48 hours and contact qualified applicants for interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, install, and commission equipment such as motors, motor control centers, medium voltage switchgear, instrumentation equipment, communication networks, and other electrical equipment.
- Align with all Company Policies and ensure that work is performed in compliance with company Operating and Maintenance (O&M) procedure requirements.
- Complete and stay current with all required safety and technical training.
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot our pipeline systems' electrical equipment, including substation equipment, medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, communication networks, and instrumentation systems.
- Coordinate with Supervisors, Planners, Schedulers, other Technicians, and other stakeholders as required to plan, schedule, and finish the work safely and efficiently.
- Use work management software to document maintenance work, maintain facility records, and update drawings as required.
- Maintain facilities for cleanliness, safety, and security.
- Execute one-call requests and crossing reports. Line locating when required.
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Electrical with interprovincial certification and a minimum of 4 years of related industrial experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with above-average analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license is required, which will be verified with a driver’s abstract check prior to hire.
- Undergo various background screenings, including but not limited to a 5-year driving record, criminal check, and company-sponsored medical and drug testing.
Working Conditions:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday with an on-call rotation. Emergency response and overtime as required.
- This position requires climbing, bending, lifting, standing, and crouching on a repetitive basis.
- Daily travel required within the area. Occasional travel within Canada.
