About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pipeline Engineer with a strong background in project management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the pipeline industry, with a focus on integrity and project execution. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects independently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage pipeline projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop project schedules, track actions, and drive projects to completion while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Demonstrate broad business and technical knowledge to resolve problems and identify opportunities.
  • Facilitate collaboration and negotiation to influence and drive results without formal authority.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiations effectively.
  • Travel throughout North America (US and Canada) for business purposes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required. Preference for candidates registered as a professional engineer (P.Eng. and/or PE).
  • A minimum of 7 years of related experience in project management, integrity, or other pipeline industry-related roles.
  • Strong project management skills with proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet task, deliverable, and schedule requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other engineering/technical applications.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with peers, management, and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, independent, innovative, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in pipeline integrity and the ability to handle approximately 20 projects per year.
  • Willingness to spend 10% of time in the field.
