Description:
The Maximo Data Analyst/Excel Specialist in this role will provide local technical support and training on the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will also prepare essential reports and metrics to ensure efficient and effective maintenance management. Ensuring core values are safety, integrity, respect and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Govern Maximo data by performing data entry, quality control and upload data to Maximo as necessary
- Provide technical Maximo user support including answering routine application questions, assisting with data entry solutions, writing and distribution of custom user reports and building application tools for users.
- Maintain Region’s preventative maintenance module in Maximo as identified by technical committees.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Information Management Analyst, Project Managers, and Planners to integrate new project Maximo functional tags, Preventative maintenance, and asset records into the existing system.
- Perform Maintenance and Compliance audits in Maximo to ensure correct maintenance is applied, correct functional tag numbering system and location hierarchies are used, correct job plans.
- Support Tech concerns/inquiries: EG. Translating a step in a job plan, requires liaison with different working groups, specialists, supervisors.
- Assist Maintenance Management Services in cleaning up project data and job plan migrations; Ad hoc asset verification requests: Changing downtime, hours requests, Job plans, PMs, Loss reference codes etc.
- Work Management clean up tasks – clearing out old work orders, routes, Preventative maintenance tasks and auditing what Preventative maintenance tasks are in use.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of experience providing support and training on the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Related university degree and limited previous experience OR two‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- Experience with preparing essential reports and metrics for maintenance management
- Preferred experience using computerized maintenance management system (Maximo, SQL database)
- Strong computer skills, (Microsoft Word and Excel Programs)
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Able to independently analyze problems, and recommend solutions proactively.
- Flexibility required managing work priorities, corporate training priorities, field schedules and incidents.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment – 90%
- Field work and travel within Region – 10%
