Enbridge is hiring a Contract Conformance Specialist III right now—when you apply, Raise will review your application within 48 hours and contact qualified applicants for interviews.  

The Contract Conformance Specialist (CCS) is responsible for managing the sourcing and administration of contractual arrangements for capital and maintenance projects. This role ensures the smooth flow of documentation and communication between the Company and Contractors, facilitating the timely resolution of contractual matters. The CCS collaborates with various departments, including legal, project management, and procurement, and reports directly to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Construction & Sourcing Administration (CS&A) Team Lead or Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer contracts for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate the preparation of purchase orders, work releases, and contract exhibits, including scope, specifications, and pricing.
  • Assist in drafting technical contract language and ensure incorporation of project-specific requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations and coordinate project-specific communication plans.
  • Review contractor documents for compliance and manage change order processes.
  • Maintain contractor correspondence and documentation logs.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and notes for contract-related meetings.
  • Establish and implement contract document control and retention systems.
  • Review contractor invoices for compliance and coordinate resolution of contractual issues.
  • Coordinate contract close-out and ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Provide ongoing communication and status updates to the SCM team lead or supervisor.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent human relations, influence, and listening skills.
  • Ability to develop collaborative working relationships across departments.
  • Familiarity with best management practices for contracting and negotiation of complex issues.
  • Strong organizational and technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Oracle.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and solve problems proactively.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline with a minimum of 4 years of experience in contract administration of construction-related projects, preferably in the energy industry; or
  • Associate’s degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Specific knowledge and experience in contracting processes related to energy industry construction projects.
  • Fundamental understanding of the intent, context, purpose, and utilization of contract documents.
