Description:

The Project Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and executing various phases of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills to manage projects effectively within prescribed deadlines and budgets.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Participate in all phases of a project, including scope definition, cost/benefit analysis, design, testing, training, implementation, and support.
  • Manage projects within prescribed deadlines and budgets, supporting the execution of project plan activities in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure workstream and function understanding of Business Readiness stage gate deliverables.
  • Provide and coordinate change management and employee engagement activities to ensure systems are implemented positively, with corresponding business process redesign and training.
  • Keep company management informed of project status through ongoing contact, communication, and presentations.
  • Act as an internal project resource on other company or corporate projects or initiatives, providing business process knowledge, facilitation, leadership skills, and system development experience.

Scope/Dimensions:

  • Accountable for assigned project management decisions.
  • Expected to manage risk, resolve, and escalate issues.
  • Engage business subject matter experts for business decisions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required:

  • Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum eight (8) years of project management experience with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodology.
  • Experience with change management initiatives and the ability to influence others.
  • Demonstrated facilitation experience (session design and delivery).

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Exemplary organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet tools (SharePoint, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Acts in a manner consistent with our Culture and Values.

Preferred:

  • PMP Designation.
  • Operational experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment.
  • Working hybrid model: Mon/Tues/Thurs in office and Wed/Friday working remotely.
