About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Engineer with 7-10 years of hydraulic modeling experience, specifically within the Natural Gas Industry. This role is essential for supporting our operations, focusing on mainline compression and natural gas pipelines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydraulic modeling for natural gas pipelines and compressors, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Utilize software programs such as FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, or Synergi Gas for modeling and analysis.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project status and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- 7-10 years of hydraulic modeling experience, with a focus on the Natural Gas Industry and mainline compression.
- Proficiency in software programs: FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, or Synergi Gas.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct "What if" scenarios.
- Excellent prioritization, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and own issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment.
