About the Role:

Are you passionate about leading projects that ensure safety and operational excellence? We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the planning, management, and coordination of capital projects, right of way repairs, and maintenance within the Great Lakes Region. This role involves managing projects such as electrical and mechanical equipment repair, pipeline modifications, tank inspections, and environmental monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Engineering:

  • Finalize project design and scope, ensuring compliance with company standards and risk mitigation.
  • Develop requests for proposals and evaluate consultant qualifications.
  • Ensure proper engineering documentation is submitted for project execution.
  • Facilitate design reviews and manage change processes.
  • Review critical operational plans and address safety concerns through engineering practices.

Project Execution:

  • Contribute to the preparation of regional operating and capital projects.
  • Determine resource requirements and identify key stakeholders.
  • Develop execution schedules, align with existing outages, and manage risks.
  • Lead resource selection, establish purchase orders, and procure materials.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with regional personnel and contractors to ensure safe project execution.
  • Ensure quality documentation and compliance with company standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Scope/Dimensions:

  • Design and execute project scopes to ensure operational reliability and safety.
  • Develop technical solutions to operational and maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage operational and capital budgets.

Working Relationships:

  • Interact with Area Operations Managers and team members in the Great Lakes Region.
  • Collaborate with Project Sponsors, Regional Engineering, and other departments to gather requirements and communicate progress.
  • Manage 3rd party contractors, establish purchase orders, and direct work execution.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Post-secondary education in engineering or PMP certification preferred, with 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience in pipeline maintenance and construction.
  • Knowledge of Enbridge Construction Standards and Specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage stakeholder interests.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
