Job Description:

  • Lead development, maintenance and communication of cross-functional performance measurement reporting including scorecards and dashboards used for managing and improving performance across Gas Distribution and Storage Including Enbridge Gas Ontario, Enbridge Gas Quebec and US utilities
  • Lead the design and development of reports and management tools by working closely with the Business to support business requirements
  • Partner with Business to identify key performance indicators and actions to meet corporate objectives.
  • Actively and advise Business of opportunities and tactics to monitor and manage performance utilizing reporting

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development of performance reporting for GDS Operations, specifically for Work Execution and Productivity management reporting, providing information to enhance effectiveness and results
  • Develop and maintain advanced scorecards/performance dashboards used for improving performance of operational areas, including presentations for business and senior leadership
  • Create /leverage tools for the collection, analysis, summarization and communication of performance measures and maintain data quality and integrity
  • Streamline and optimize the process and reporting with various stakeholders to foster single source of truth in support of consistent reporting, data and messages across the organization
  • Establish and manage effective data governance for all Performance Measurement Reporting to capture all data/reports in one centralized repository system in a consistent manner
  • Work with Performance Reporting team to understand solutions to advance scorecard and dashboard reporting in an effort of continuous improvement
  • Work with Operations’ leaders to develop leading measures and key performance indicators, to implement solutions for driving results and enhancement opportunities
  • Assess business information and partner with Business leaders to advise of insights and opportunities to manage and measure continuous growth
  • Solve complex problems, taking broad perspectives to identify innovative solutions
  • Prioritize own work in ways that are aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Assist to build advanced reports/queries using company standard reporting and data extraction e.g. Power BI (Excel/Query), SQL, SAP Business Object reports, etc.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required:

  • University Degree required: Business, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering
  • 5+ years experience working in performance measurement, reporting and/or analytics
  • Excellent communication, issue/problem resolution, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated results in implementing improvements and driving results
  • Proven track record of successfully establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Exceptional computer skills using Excel and Power Point
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, PowerBI, Business Objects and other performance reporting tools

Preferred:

  • Experience with Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering and Work Management in Gas Distribution & Storage
  • Broad understanding of Gas Distribution & Storage data and systems.
  • Exceptional computer skills including business intelligence skills coupled with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis
