  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet regulatory, corporate, and project-specific standards.
  • Coordinate and drive integration of concurrent engineering scopes across new plant and existing facilities.
  • Collaborate with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure engineering supports seamless execution.
  • Act as the technical authority and escalation point for complex engineering decisions.
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation related to engineering scope.
  • Ensure robust change management is applied across design development and execution.
  • Represent the project in internal and external engineering reviews.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • 15+ years of engineering experience in gas processing facility design and execution.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large, multi-scope energy infrastructure projects.
  • Deep understanding of process, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and utility systems.
  • Extensive experience managing multiple Engineering Contractors and concurrent scopes.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in brownfield facility optimization projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of project lifecycle phases including FEL, detailed design, and construction support.
  • Familiarity with pipeline interface considerations in facility design.

Credentials:

  • Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Professional Technologist (P. Tech. Eng.) in Canada.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proactive, self-directed, and accountable
  • Systems thinker with attention to technical and execution details
