Job Description:

We are looking for an outstanding team player with incredible organizational skills to join us in the SCM Supplier Portal Support team! We are working to advance the adoption of the Oracle Cloud Supplier Portal.

This position acts as the liaison with our suppliers and provides training and support for onboarding, technical issues and internally works with SCM Buyers to use the portal. 

What you will do:

  • Identify and prioritize suppliers for invitation into the portal based on multiple requirements.
  • Send and track invitations via group mailbox; initiate follow ups, and respond to requests from suppliers
  • Develop and provide communication to suppliers and internal stakeholders on portal usage, adoption and training including monthly reporting metrics
  • Deliver training to suppliers and internally to buyers to encourage adoption of the portal.  
  • Monitor adherence to strategy and schedules for supplier onboarding
  • Proactively monitor suppliers who do business with Enbridge but have not yet registered through the Portal. Makes registration courtesy follow-up calls and encourage adoption. 
  • Ability to collate, manipulate and integrate data from multiple sources, and report outcomes
  • Track metrics including number of invitations, follow ups, conversion rate, declines on a weekly/monthly basis

Scope/Dimensions

  • This position does not have people leadership responsibilities and is an individual contributor role and part of a team supporting the portal. 
  • Decision Effectiveness limited to Perform although it is expected that successful candidates will relay recommendations, issues, and risks to the Team Lead as necessary
  • Supports delivery of SCM goals and objectives related to the Portal

Contacts (Working Relationships)

  • Daily interactions with team members to discuss progress, troubleshoot issues
  • Daily collaboration with team members to frame issues, solve problems, provide mentorship and relay feedback

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:

  • University degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field with a minimum of two (2) years' demonstrated successful experience in supplier/vendor maintenance and relations, customer service and support or accounts payable or other closely related experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong MS Excel and analytical skills including demonstrated proficiency in aggregating large data sets to determine outcomes based on competing requirements
  • Proven communication and relationship building skills including excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision. 
  • Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, large organizations and multiple regions to drive common solutions.

Preferred:

  • Working experience of ERP systems for supplier onboarding (specifically, Oracle Cloud)
  • Supplier portal experience
  • Presentation skills; ability to influence
  • Change management skill is a benefit
  • Change management skill is a benefit

Working Conditions

  • Normal office working conditions
  • Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible and deadline oriented. Numerous, often competing interests must be managed concurrently whilst negotiating/influencing 
  • Moderate travel required, e.g., project sites, domestic and foreign suppliers, Warehouses, Enbridge locations, occasionally requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
