Job Description:

  • This role is accountable for supporting the design of future DSM program offerings for Affordable Housing, Residential, and New Construction including target and budget building to meet prescribed levels
  • This includes gathering and analysis of data and research on past, present and future results and inputs to address inquiries to help develop future program design

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Assists members of the program innovation team in the design, planning and execution framework of various program offers within Residential, Affordable Housing and New Construction sectors
  • Work with other departments to compile research and data, complete analysis and summarize findings supporting, or not, program design approaches
  • Complete input to Sector/Offer plan template for completion to support future program direction
  • Assist with target and budget building and analysis required such as sensitivity analysis
  • Compilation and organization of evidence for OEB filing; tracking of key priorities identified, tasks required for priorities, timelines and resources
  • Support internal and external stakeholdering plan by completing required documentation outlining attendees, topics, agenda, notes during sessions and organize in a central location for evidence
  • Support completion of market research and analysis to inform future program development and implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Special projects and adhoc requests

Scope/Dimensions:

  • Program Innovation: Assists Program Innovation team in the design of future program offerings to be filed in fall 2024
  • Budget and Target: Build targets and budgets to achieve expectation guidelines provided to produce revenue requirement
  • Regulatory: Assist in preparation of IR’s and back up evidence for regulatory hearing
  • Stakeholdering: Internal and external stakeholder support for program design direction
  • Research and Data: Work with internal departments to compile research and data to produce summaries to provide program design direction

Contacts (Working Relationships):

  • Program Design: Purpose: Current program design delivery and execution insight including targets and budgets in current framework
  1. Frequency: Ongoing/as required
  • Energy Conservation (EC) Audit, Evaluation and Tracking & Reporting
  1. Purpose: On-going data on past present and future program information to facilitate effective outlook process. Addresses inquires and data requirements and supports DSM
  2. Frequency: Ongoing / As Required
  • Business Intelligence and Market Research
  1. Purpose: Provides support for internal data sets and research for various sectors
  2. Frequency: Ongoing/as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering
  • At least 2 years of relevant business experience preferred in energy conservation, program design/management or implementation
  • Ability to conduct data analysis and generate both insights and recommendations from data
  • Organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-starter with good time management skills who can work cooperatively with others
  • Goal-oriented – capable of setting and working against clear project plans and communicating status and outcomes

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid Model: In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) Remote (Wednesday & Friday)
  • This position typically operates in an office work environment
