Your Role

This is an opportunity to be a part of a high performing, award winning operation that is a critical component to Dulux Group’s delivery of products to customers.  

Based at our Gracefield (Lower Hutt) and reporting to the Services Manager, you will lead and motivate the customer service team in all day-to-day activities to ensure they provide excellent service which surpasses our customers’ expectations.

You will be responsible for driving the performance of the Customer Service Team in a fast- paced and complex work environment via coaching and mentoring. With your problem-solving approach you will also be responsible for development of innovative solutions. No two days are ever the same in this complex and exciting role where you can have a real impact across the entire Dulux Group.

Everyone who joins participates in comprehensive training from our dedicated training team and will learn over time (and when ready) all of the Dulux Group brands that we support.

Skills and Experience

This is a role with real impact, so you’ll need the ability to multi task and work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders including distribution and sales teams. You will have a passion for leading a team and will be motivated by providing an exceptional customer experience. Ideally, you can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a Customer Service leadership role, Distribution or Sales experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working in a complex environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with a natural ability to build rapport
  • An innovative mindset that is always solution-focused
  • Experience managing KPI’s while motivating a team
