Your opportunity 

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role oversees both the Architectural Hardware and Cabinet Hardware divisions of our business in South Australia. This strategically vital business role is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals (Territory Managers) and carries primary responsibility to deliver financial objectives of revenue, gross margin, product mix and controllable expenses, whilst ensuring compliance with internal strategies, goals, policies and procedures.

The role also has a focus on operational efficiencies through product forecasting, customer logistics optimisation and will be a key conduit for both the state distribution centre and state branch network. As a strong and collaborative leader, you will provide influential leadership that continues to drive a culture of ownership, success and excellence.

You’ll leverage your ability to create insights from data whilst applying a commercial lens to decision making, as we strive towards evolving our current model and ways of operating. You will enjoy working out on the field with customers and the team, as you focus on exploring business development opportunities in both existing and new market segments.

Here’s what you’ll achieve here: 

  • Implement and execute sales strategies to grow market share across Architectural & Cabinet Hardware and Lincoln Sentry products
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of state sales plans
  • Review and report performance against KPI’s and all relevant aspects of state activity
  • Motivate and engage the team through in field coaching and your demonstrated people development skills
  • Leverage CRM and sales data to drive business growth

What you’ll bring 

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, account management of key accounts and business development
  • Effective leadership and coaching/mentoring skills
  • Analytical (data driven) mindset with strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in managing a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Exposure to a complex channel sales environment and/or trade facing industry experience is advantageous
