About the Role

We are looking for a Master Data Coordinator to join us at our friendly Clayton office and help control and direct our National Merchandising.

The role ensures master data integrity exists for all products in the store network and actively supports the merchandising requirements of the Trade Teams.

The role is critical to the maintenance of all aspects of correct data but also stretches across to include the provision of in store processes and procedures for multiple categories of products managed by the Trade team.

The role requires the building of excellent working relationships with multiple internal customers and interfaces directly with all the departments that support the Trade business as retailed via the store network.

Responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of outline agreements by vendors
  • Managing master data including creation, updates and discontinuation
  • Product extensions and sourcing
  • Maintenance of reports
  • Follow up Safety Data Sheet with suppliers and work in conjunction with Sustainability
  • Investigate and resolve blocked invoices
  • Support and assist with set up for new vendors and support vendor details maintenance
  • Adhoc assistance looking after the Purchasing Officer's responsibilities

Skills & Experience

  • Solid computer skills – a previous experience using SAP would be advantageous
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Highly organised with strong use of initiative
  • A positive and highly driven approach
